I cant believe how fast time is FLYING!!! Like seriously, where did the summer and warm weather go?!? Today was the first day of October, and dont worry, it was only 43 degrees in Rexburg!!! Goodbye summer hello Fall! HA! :) Anyway, school is back in session and the stress is already hitting. There are days I dont even feel like going to class because I feel like its a waste of time. Seriously my classes are so easy this semester, but I think too easy to the extent that if I dont do good in them its simply because I decided sleep was more important! Senioritis has TOTALLY set in HARD! Its crazy how excited I am to get out of here and yet how sad I am at the same time! I am trying to take in every aspect of this semester, from the good, the bad, the ugly, and the pretty! Its been a blast so far and I know its only going to get better! September was of course my birthday, the entire family back home went out to a way nice Japanese restraunt...it was sooo good and so expensive! Thank goodness for mom and dad!! I enjoyed spending the last week or so back home with the family and when it was time to say goodbye, it was a happy one because we all knew it was the LAST one!!! Thank the Lord! So yeah, I am back at school and my roomies are pretty amazing! Well except for two of them. I cant stand them, they are seniors, we all graduate in December, and yet they have NO concept of how to clean! They are the most messy dirty roomies I have EVER had! Its insane how lazy and dirty they are! It drives me insane! I do AT LEAST 3 loads of dishes a day with them. I dont think they know what the sink is for!! 4 of us know each other so we have more control of the apartment but seriously, they need to grow up! Its times like this I realize how grateful I am for my mom teaching me the concepts of growing up and living on my own! Oh I found the apartment I am going to move into back home! They are super cute and I cant wait to move into them!!! Being back at school also is a great time for me because Ryan is just 3 hours away! He has come down every weekend and its nice to be able to hang out with him! He really does drive me nuts but then again makes me sooo happy! OH OH OH I am sooo excited for October because we bought the tickets to the Michael Jackson movie so we are going on a road trip to Utah Halloween weekend and then doing haunted houses down there! SO excited!!! PS what do you think of mine and Kates Halloween costumes?!?

August...

I cant believe summer has come and gone!!! Where did the time go?!? I swear it was just yesterday I was headed home to Cali...and now I am arranging things by weight to go into suitcases back to Idaho!!! INSANE!!! August was full of fun! I enjoyed my entire summer at home! I enjoyed getting my nice tan back...its been 4 years since I have been home!!! I enjoyed going to Santa Cruz, State Fair, Mystery Spot, cheap theater movies that I didnt even know existed, and mainly, just hanging out with the ones that really matter...my family!!! I got to spend the weeks with Beth and her family while she did swim lessons and it was such a blast to hang out with Max and Milo! I am going to miss them so much when I leave next week--I also miss them the most!!! This month also brought along Ryan...who is this boy that makes me smile!!! :) I am excited to go back to Idaho and get to hang out with him! He is special! Brayden and Max both started school this month...which I just dont know how I feel about that!!! They are not old enough to be in preschool...let alone kindergarten!!!! August has been a full month of graduation planning...between food items, invitations, and everyones travel and lodging accomadations, I am planned out!!! I have truly enjoyed being home with my family...as crazy, annoying, and dysfunctional as we all are...although I am just as excited to start school because in just 3 1/2 short months...I WILL BE A GRADUATE!!! YAY!!!

July...
Oh man! So much has gone on in July! I cant believe its already half way over! This month I was able to go home for the 4th of July...the first time in 4 years! It was so fun to be home and I was able to remember how much I love that holiday! Good food, friends, sun, fireworks, what could be better?!? My cousins were even able to come which was awesome because I hardly got to see them for Emmy's wedding so it was nice being around them! Kelly and I drove home and surprised everyone..well mainly Emily and Beth but their faces and reactions were priceless! Even though they both thought I was kicked out of school! HAHA the drive home was long...mainly because I didnt take the right freeway and added about 3 hours to our drive! I totally pulled a dumb and dumber move and it was great! I also went to the new Harry Potter movie...I am not even a huge Harry Potter fan but when Trent asked, I couldnt resist. I must say, it was very slow and very boring...I did not enjoy it at all! There were funny points to it but umm no...not good! We were both so bored with it and he likes them! We went to dinner first where I was able to spill an entire FULL glass of soda all over myself! I was DRENCHED front and back! We still had to go to Target so there I was walking like I peed my pants, and he was telling everyone that I had an accident on the way up! So nice of him! July is also the end of the semester! I feel like I did so well this time around...I am still waiting for my classes to get hard! I wrote my first 10 page paper and vow NEVER to do that again! It was tough...mainly because I hated the subject matter and the professor but whatever it is done and over with! I found out the college I wanted to attend back home isnt accepting anyone for Spring 2010 so my teaching career is put on hold for the time being--perhaps a sign I should go overseas! I am really looking into that hardcore now! Well, July has been a great month--full of lots of great memories and stories! Most of which are just silly little things that dont seem to matter much to others...but somehow struck hard with me! I am ready to leave Idaho behind for 7 weeks as Thursday approaches and enjoy a good ol California summer....4 years later!

Me and two of my roomies, Kate and Krista, decided to take full advantage of our 4 day weekend and headed to Utah! Only this wasnt your typical go to Utah and wonder what you are going to do the whole time...we had an entire list of things we were going to accomplish each day and I can proudly say we did EVERYTHING on the list!!! :) It started with floating down the Provo River on tubes--Krista and I were cursed and ended up flipping out of tubes into the 40 degree water! Needless to say it was FREEZING and we are TORN UP from the rocks, branches, and everything else in the water! Then we camped at American Fork Canyon at one of the most amazing locations ever! It was raining so we didnt have a fire for more than 45 minutes but it was long enough to make dinner and a few smores--we were tired anyway so we chilled inside the tent for the most part and told ghost stories! Sunday we went to church and watched a couple movies with the Wandviks--so much fun! Monday we headed to Park City were we did the zip line, the worlds steepest, and the alpine slides followed by three hours of shopping! It was a blast--although I got grumpy for a little bit because there was no structure for the shopping part lol. Monday night we went to our FHE brothers house, Travis, in West Jordan for a bon fire and I got to drive Jon's HUGE truck! We should have taken pictures but we didnt! DANG IT!!! Tuesday we headed to the Salt Lake Zoo and temple square! It was a long weekend, we came back DEAD TIRED and I think we ended up in bed by 10pm last night--thats a record! Here are some pictures from our adventures! :)

1/4 way through...
The first 1/4 of the semester is over!!! Which means, only 1 and 3/4 semesters left! HA...can you tell I am excited??! Lately, I have been filled with ideas on what I want to do next year but nothing seems right so far so I dont really know which direction I will end up going. One thing is for sure though...I was CLEARED for the December Graduation ceremony--as long as I pass the last of my classes! I feel so accomplished being the first one in my family to go through and finish college at once...and only being the 2nd person to EVER finish! Who would have thought only the oldest and youngest would graduate?!?

CAMPING!!!

So me and my best friend Tara decided we REALLY wanted to go camping, however, we couldnt find enough people to get together to go on an actual camping trip, so we did the next best thing...we camped in the backyard! I never realized how HORRIBLE I was at putting up tents...or building a fire...or really anything outdoors! HA...I really do love camping, but I could seriously do without the dirt and the bugs! Good thing we were just outside so I still had a bathroom and shower! Me and some Idaho friends are planning a real camping trip this summer so I am super excited about it!!! Camping is just so fun!!
Back to School...
Time just seems to fly when you are having fun! It seems like just the other day I was packing up my room and headed back home and now I am left unpacking that same room I thought I just left! The best thing about Idaho this year is...ITS MY LAST YEAR!!! I cannot wait to walk across the stage and grab that diploma and keep on walking!!! Classes started Monday and I am already so stressed! There is so much to do in so little time!!! I also have been seriously thinking about what I am going to do come December and have a few options in mind. I am currently looking into teaching overseas...possibly Japan...for 6 months then coming back and working on my California teaching credentials. If I dont teach overseas, I would just go straight back into school for the credentials and then hope I could find a job in the next school year. I dont know how well that would work with the current California budget mess but its another possibility! I have FOR SURE decided that after about 2-3 years of teaching, I am going to start night classes to gain a Masters in Special Education! I was so excited that I finalized that plan!!! YAY!!! And I also know that I am going to start the adoption process when I am 28 so hopefully I will have a little baby by the time I am 29-30!!! YAY!! HA...I have so many things that I WANT to do and that I HOPE I can do, but for now, 240 more days till I graduate!!! :)
