it's been awhile...

I have not done this whole blog thing in such a long time! I still get on and read what everyone else is saying, I just don't feel like I really have anything to say! My life is pretty much the same, wake up, go to work, come home, cook, clean, watch tv with Shaun, go to sleep and repeat. We are hoping to break out of that cycle this summer because we are BOTH going stir crazy. Last week Shaun had surgery to remove his gallbladder. The surgery went well, he had a hard time coming out of the anesthesia according to one of the nurses, so we had to stay a little longer, but then we got to come home that night. He was pretty out of it and telling me some crazy stories. Like how he saw a man in the room when his eyes were shut and the man wanted to be his friend, but if he opened his eyes, he was gone. It was pretty funny! That was a long morning for me though, being stuck in a hospital waiting room by myself for hours, then to top it off a social worker came into the waiting room to get a family and I overheard her say, "can you please follow me into this private room over here..." NEVER a good sign to get moved into the private room...I learned that first hand a year and a half ago. Anyway, I decided to pick up some extra money and work summer school this year...it's only a month and I get an entire month extra pay ontop of my normal pay (because I chose to get paid 12 months out of the year instead of just the normal 10 that you work) so I am looking forward to doing some fun stuff next month with Shaun...enjoying our last summer baby free! Speaking of baby, Lincoln has been moving and kicking like CRAZY! He is very shy though, we have so many issues trying to get a sonogram of him...they were worried they were going to have to reschedule me because they didn't know if they would be able to get all his measurements. He does not like when you put your hand on my tummy...he will instantly stop moving and then the hand is removed, resume kicking. Shaun finally got to feel him kick last week...that's how long it has taken to get him to kick while a hand is on the tummy! I totally have one stubborn kid...like father like son! :) I have been busy working on his baby registry...I am really addicted to adding and deleting things and just wanting to go out and buy everything right now on my own! It is so hard to wait this long!!! My house is already overtaken with baby stuff and I know it is just going to get worse...but I cannot wait till Link can actually play and use these things!  I have to take the glucose test next week and I am really dreading it. Not the drinking the medicine or anything, but the sitting and waiting for so long...you can only people watch for so long before getting bored! ;) I cannot believe I am a week shy of being 7 months pregnant...NOTHING has gone wrong in this pregnancy...so sicknesses or ANYTHING and I am really hoping to keep it that way. In fact, as of my last appointment...I have only gained just over 7 pounds this whole time...even though it looks like I have gained 70! I cannot wait to start jogging again and get back to pre-pregnancy size and feeling that good again! Anyway, here is the latest belly shot of me...I try to do them when I can remember because everyone that lives away keeps asking to see what I look like...it is REALLY awkward to take pictures of yourself! lol
